Fantasy WCFL

Custom fantasy football web application.

FWCFL is a dynamic fantasy football platform modeled after the popular Fantasy Premier League, but tailored for a local church football league. It allows users to engage with the league in a new way by creating and managing their own fantasy teams composed of real players. Participants select a squad, make strategic transfers, and earn points based on their players' real-world performances in weekly matches, including goals, assists, and clean sheets. Built as a pure client-side application, the project leverages modern web technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. For its backend, it relies on PlayFab, a powerful cloud gaming service, to manage user authentication, store team data, and power live leaderboards. This serverless architecture ensures a scalable, low-maintenance, and cost-effective solution. The user interface is clean, responsive, and mobile-friendly, providing an intuitive experience for all users.
